First and foremost, you are invited! At our heart, we are a table fellowship. We celebrate communion every week as the focus of our worship. "We welcome all to the Lord's table, as God has welcomed us." It is around the table where our individuality is celebrated, our diversity is honored, our spirits are nurtured, our relationships, our covenants, our faith and our theology take shape. First Christian Church is a member congregation of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Here's a link to our denominational web page. Disciples identify through covenant relationships in ministry, not through specifically-espoused doctrinal beliefs. Here, you'll find yourself among a community of people who are creating wholeness in our lives in the context of our relationships with God, self, and other. We come from many backgrounds and faith walks, yet we accept each other without judgment, and try to live out Christ's example of of unconditional love and radical welcome, no matter if you believe in God some of the time, all of the time, or none of the time.
